FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

1. What is IPL Hair Removal?
Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) Hair Removal uses broad-spectrum light to target melanin in hair follicles. The light energy is absorbed and converted to heat, damaging the hair follicles and inhibiting future hair growth.

2. How is Glazee's IPL device different from others on the market?
Our state-of-the-art device is backed by science and is designed with the latest technology. We prioritize safety, efficacy, and user experience, ensuring a non-invasive at-home treatment that's both effective and comfortable.

3. How soon can I see results?
Many users notice a reduction in hair growth within 4 weeks of consistent use. However, complete hair removal is typically achieved after 12 sessions.

4. Is IPL Hair Removal safe for all skin types?
While our device is designed for a broad range of skin types, it's essential to consult the user manual and perform a patch test before full treatment. This will ensure the best and safest results.

5. How often should I use the Glazee IPL device?
For optimal results, we recommend using the device once a week for the first 12 weeks. After this initial phase, you can use it less frequently for maintenance.

6. Is IPL treatment painful?
Glazee's IPL device offers a more comfortable experience than waxing and is generally described as feeling like a warm sensation. The device also has adjustable settings to cater to individual comfort levels.

7. What certifications does the Glazee IPL device hold?
Our device proudly boasts FCE, CE, and RoHS certifications, ensuring that it meets strict safety and quality standards.

8. Can I use the device on my face?
Yes, our IPL device is designed to be gentle enough for facial use. However, always avoid the eye area and follow the provided guidelines.

9. How does Glazee's IPL hair removal compare to laser treatments or waxing?
Our IPL device offers a middle ground—it's more affordable than professional laser treatments and is considered less painful than waxing. Plus, the convenience of at-home use is unparalleled.

10. Is there any aftercare needed post-treatment?
After each session, it's advisable to moisturize the treated area and avoid direct sunlight for 48 hours. Using sunscreen can further protect the skin.

10. Do I need to wear eye protection?
No. Eye protection is not required whilst using our Handset. Our Handsets have been designed with a sensor and will not pulse a light unless the entire window is pressed against your skin. That being said, you should never try and look directly into the light as it flashes.
